Deeds: Get Out And Vote!
Deeds: Get Out And Vote! was an initiative of the Petaluma Arts Center in response to the unprecedented horrors of the Trump administration over the past four years, inhumane treatment of immigrants at our borders, an increase in racist violence, the BLM movement and the malevolent incompetence of the administration’s mishandling of COVID.
Inspired by the motto of the Suffragist movement, "Deeds not Words" and by the vital social change that resulted 100 years ago, Petaluma Arts Center is proud to present this mobilization of artistry and community.
Along with my friend Amy Critchett producing, I designed and built this site within two months in time for a July 4th launch in 2020 as a way to share the work of local artists who care about our community, our country and the world.
